Astronaut

In his Camden Fringe debut, Joe Wright brings a new project called Astronaut. A spoken word, multimedia theatre piece that focuses on the current homelessness crisis across Ireland. Ignited by the takeover of Apollo House in 2016, which saw concerned citizens and grass root activists challenge the Irish government in the high court for the housing of homeless people. The performance asks an all important question of "How far does this epidemic have to go before the public influences change?" Created from real life events and true stories, tied together through the eyes of our character and his life up to now.
Does his Apollo land ?

"We have more homeless people in Ireland now that at any time since the famine"
